Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, “Show Ya Sef,” after a tense 10-week battle that ended with her securing the highest number of votes from viewers across Nigeria and other African countries.
Nkem polled 25.87 per cent of the total votes to clinch the coveted title, defeating Aikou, who finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba came third with 9.80 per cent.
Her victory also earned her a place in BBNaija history as the fifth female winner of the reality television franchise.
As the Season 11 champion, Nkem will take home ₦90 million in cash and a brand-new SUV.
The original ₦100 million cash prize was adjusted, with ₦10 million allocated to the Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) prize fund.
10 weeks of drama, twists and surprises
The grand finale brought to a close an eventful season that began with 24 housemates competing for the ultimate prize.
Throughout the 10-week competition, the contestants faced weekly tasks, Head of House challenges, nominations and a series of twists designed to test their strategy, relationships and ability to survive in the house.
The season was also marked by unprecedented developments, including two disqualifications and one voluntary exit—the first time in the show's history that all three occurred during a single season.
Speaking on the conclusion of the competition, Atinuke Babatunde, Executive Head of Content and Channels, West Africa, MultiChoice Nigeria, described the season as another exciting chapter for the franchise.
“Season 11 has been another exciting chapter for Big Brother Naija. We saw 24 housemates bring their personalities, perspectives and individual approaches to the game, and we are pleased to have shared their journey with our viewers.
“We thank everyone who watched, voted and joined the conversation throughout the season, as well as our sponsors and partners for their continued support.”
