Elsie Okpocha, the ex-wife of comedian Basketmouth, has threatened legal action against individuals and blogs spreading what she describes as false information about her marriage.
Elsie, through her legal representatives, Primeview Legal, dismissed recent social media claims suggesting paternity fraud as the reason behind her divorce, describing them as “false and unfounded.”
She warned that anyone found circulating such reports would face defamation and privacy-related lawsuits.
Concerned about the impact of the rumours, she also noted that the false narratives could expose her child to online bullying and psychological distress.
Elsie urged the public to desist from spreading misinformation, emphasizing the need to protect her family’s privacy and well-being.
