Nollywood actress and award-winning filmmaker Funke Akindele has shared her views on Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), revealing that she admires the procedure but cannot undergo it because she has a low tolerance for pain.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Morayo Show, the Jenifa star said she appreciates cosmetic enhancements, especially moderate body procedures, but stressed the importance of caution.
According to her, she prefers subtle enhancements such as a flat tummy and liposuction, noting that while she likes BBL, she favors smaller and natural-looking results.
Akindele said she is not against women improving their bodies through surgery, but warned against excessive procedures and advised careful consideration of the risks involved.
The actress also opened up about how fame has affected her personal relationships, describing herself as someone who loves deeply but is also very strict and disciplined.
She explained that maintaining discipline has sometimes forced her to distance herself from people she once cared about, adding that success often comes with loneliness.
According to her, staying at the top requires being guarded, focused, and selective about friendships, which can make life less socially exciting.
Akindele added that she is still learning how to manage relationships better, while prioritizing her mental health above everything else.
