“MY MOTHER DOESN’T WANT ME TO HELP MY DAD” — PELLER REVEALS

Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has revealed that his mother is against him financially supporting his father.

He made the disclosure during a livestream while reacting to the ongoing online controversy involving content creator GehGeh, whose family issues recently trended on social media after he was called out by a sibling over alleged neglect.

GehGeh had responded to the criticism by saying he is the first in his family to become financially successful, adding that he cannot fully carry the burden of lifting his entire family out of poverty. He said he can only do his best, not “his all,” and advised his siblings to seek employment.

Reacting to the situation, Peller said he understands the pressure such family disputes can create and admitted he has faced similar experiences.

He alleged that his father has repeatedly demanded financial support from him, even after receiving previous assistance, including a car gift. According to him, his mother has advised him to stop sending money to his father, though he continues to support him out of gratitude for his upbringing.

Peller also claimed he has provided financial help and opened businesses for his mother, adding that he is under significant family pressure due to ongoing demands.

He further recalled that his parents’ separation affected his upbringing, a topic he had previously discussed in an interview with broadcaster Frank Edoho.
