PSG BEAT MAN CITY 4-2 AS REAL MADRID STAGE STUNNING LATE COMEBACK AGAINST ROMA

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Manchester City 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium, while Real Madrid scored three late goals to overturn a 3-1 deficit and snatch a dramatic 4-3 victory over Roma in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League action.

PSG took control early, with Désiré Doué opening the scoring in the 13th minute before Ousmane Dembélé doubled the lead two minutes later. Vitinha made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute.

Manchester City fought back after the break as Erling Haaland scored in the 53rd and 75th minutes. However, Maghnes Akliouche struck in the 62nd minute to preserve PSG’s two-goal cushion, while Gianluigi Donnarumma saved a late penalty from Ferran Torres to help the visitors secure victory.

In Rome, Real Madrid staged a stunning late comeback to deny José Mourinho’s side a home victory.

Marten de Roon put Roma ahead in the 20th minute before Kylian Mbappé equalised five minutes later. Donyell Malen then scored twice in the second half, in the 51st and 58th minutes, to give Roma a commanding 3-1 lead.

Madrid refused to surrender, with substitute Carlos Espí reducing the deficit in the 83rd minute before Endrick levelled four minutes later with a header from an Arda Güler corner.

Antonio Rüdiger completed the turnaround in the 89th minute, finishing from another Güler delivery to seal a remarkable 4-3 victory.

The win maintained Real Madrid’s perfect start to their Champions League campaign, while Roma were left to rue their inability to protect their lead.

The results capped a dramatic night of European football, with PSG resisting City’s comeback attempt and Madrid snatching victory in the closing stages in Rome.
