TENSION BUILDS AS PORTABLE, CARTER EFE CLASH AHEAD OF CELEBRITY BOXING MATCH

Nigerian social media stars Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, and Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, have ignited excitement ahead of their celebrity boxing clash after a fiery pre-fight face-off.

The duo exchanged heated words as tensions flared, each promising a dominant victory in what fans expect to be an entertaining showdown.

The bout is part of Chaos in the Ring 4, scheduled for May 1 at the Federal Palace Hotel. The event, sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control and organised by Balmoral Group in partnership with AK Promotions, will feature several high-profile fights.

In the headline bout, Ezra Arenyeka will take on Godday Appah in the WBO Peace Fight—an initiative aimed at fostering unity between the Itsekiri and Ijaw communities. Both fighters have expressed confidence, with Appah predicting a knockout and Arenyeka vowing to end the fight early.

Portable, who previously recorded exhibition wins over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, says he is ready to extend his streak. However, Carter Efe dismissed those victories, insisting this fight will end swiftly in his favour.

Other bouts on the card include Michael McKinson vs Mohammad Sahnoun, Elvis Ahorgah vs Joe Laws, and Rasheed Adeyemo vs Nicolaus Mdoe. Rising talent Raheem Animashaun will also face Emmanuel Amos.

According to Balmoral Group CEO Ezekiel Adamu, the event is designed to showcase African boxing talent on a global stage, with worldwide broadcast coverage on DAZN.
